This project exemplifies EMD Controls & Fabrication’s ability to produce precision laser cut parts. The part shown was designed for mounting PC boards and other components in a NEMA 4X electronic control enclosure in the weighing industry. Composed of only 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, the customer supplied drawings called out an overall size of 8.59″ x 8.59″, with a height of 0.104″.

Manufacturing of this component required extreme precision to create the intricate features. At EMD we pride ourselves in ability to laser cut and produce these parts to a tolerance of only two thousandths of an inch.
