Laser Cut Motor Mount and Tubing Assembly for Volumetric Feeder

Manufactured at EMD Controls & Fabrication for a client in the volumetric feeder industry, the motor mount and tubing assembly shown was designed as both a mount for the feeder motor and tubing for through which the material passes in dry powder feeding applications.

Constructed from  304 stainless steel, it features a mount for the motor and tubing through which both the auger shaft and the material must pass. Overall dimensions are 12″ x 12″ x 6″.

All processing took place in-house using our state-of-the-art, CNC fiber laser cutting machine, press brake and CNC router.  The parts were then welded together using our TIG welder to form the completed assembly.

Numerous quality checkpoints throughout the production cycle confirmed we met the customer’s specifications for dimensional accuracy. The client was satisfied with every aspect of our work and continues to partner with us on challenging projects.
